Hovde Dassow + Deets successfully resolved a medical malpractice claim on behalf of a Mishawaka resident who had an elective right total knee replacement and during surgery her right distal femur was fractured. During a later surgery to repair the femur the right femoral artery and femoral vein was entrapped in cerclage wires, which ultimately resulted in an above knee amputation of the right leg.
