Hovde Dassow + Deets successfully resolved a claim of a West Lafayette woman who underwent the surgical removal of serousel adenocarcinoma. Subsequent to the surgery, the defendants negligently failed to timely diagnose that she had suffered a perforated bowel and as a result of which she developed sepsis and died. At the time of the surgery and her death, she was gainfully employed and married, but her husband died shortly thereafter.
